To celebrate 40 years of the Barbican Centre, Clarke explored it's brutalist forms and structures to find unique perspectives that then informed his sketches. After producing a wide range of drawings, he limited these down to 40 individual graphite drawings, each one representing and celebrating a year of the Barbican's 40 year journey.
