The town where I bought this had a Kriegsmarine depot and a great many of these were found in the area as the locals raided the depot at the end of the war

They have no markings to indicate when they were made or where

but probably more recently made

The brush heads are made from steel

This is a gebirgs food thermos minus basically the glass thermos

DAK Neck Tie Cotton S1 pre-WWII The town where I boughtOriginal Afrika Korps neck tie. It is unissued but has some light storage wear or a little dirt; still in overall nice, presentable condition. It is a size 1 with nice markings. It measures about 48" long. There are several variations in material for these types of ties; this one is a plain weave cotton.
