Even in stock form, the OEM system has a hard time keeping IAT's cool in hot climates or racing conditions. This problem is exponentially worse once you start turning up the boost, leaving little time before your ECM starts to pull timing which leaves a lot of power on the table, instead of at the tire where it belongs.
