tall and is made from various thicknesses of sheet steel from 12gauge to 20

since relatively few were produced compared with the standard baseplate - many were likely scrapped after the war

It may require some fitting to an original sidecar as well since there were several manufacturers and there could easily be variations

Skeleton Keys - Federlos D.R.G.M. Dday2025 I tried to photograph theThree original German skeleton keys. One is marked "Federlos D. R. G. M." and the other two keys are unmarked. They are all in good condition with some light surface rust. They are tied together with twine (that is how we found them, so we left them like that). The longest key is 3 1 8" long and the shortest key is 2 1 8" long.
