Samira cushions 310 x 208cmA very narrow 1940s Karaja runner from north west Persia. Ivory field with centre row of shield shape medallions alternating with hooked medallions in cheerful pinks and reds with details in yellow and pale green; dark brown rosette main border. Coarsely woven with a tufty pile as is typical of rugs from this region, it is in robust condition and will stand up well to use in a hall or corridor. 374 x 58cm
