I have encountered a few from this particular maker and can confirm that the insert that is inside is the original one that came with this from the factory which is actually pretty neat

but I did not count them to make sure

There are snaps sewn into the chest pockets and beneath the buttons to help it stay closed

Red Bakelite Bread Container Book I have encountered a fewPeriod German rectangular red Bakelite bread container. The Bakelite ones are hard to find. In overall good condition. Some dirt inside and general wear. I believe the markings are post war. Still a very nice piece in a great period color. There were Bakelite containers like this during the war also, but I just don't think this is one of them.
