Rare Edwardian British Army Highland Light Infantry Waistcoat ASC slider mount maker marked JA rare and original Edwardian British Army waistcoat attributed to the Highland Light Infantry. This distinctive garment features fine period construction, the reverse and collar in wool with a tailored cut, centrally applied is a H. L. I. monogram and Imperial Crown in bullion wire; the front in cotton with buttons in white metal. Likely part of an officers mess or undress uniform, the waistcoat is an uncommon survival from the early 20th century
