It is marked with a 3 letter code, "kem", dated 41 and waffen amt stamped. This is very nice to have when you are packing your ice axe away for summer displays. It help keep it from poking holes in your other gear. This one is based on a civilian pattern and the leather work is done in a Wehrmacht style. Originals can be hard too find
