You can usually get some pretty dramatic looking cloud patterns from the thunderstorms and that was my hope this morning

I noticed these eastern daisy fleabane plants close to where I was photographing with the early morning soft sunlight that was falling perfectly on these flowers

The sun began to shine bright through the clouds as the colors of the sunrise came to fruition appearing behind the box elder trees that line Eakin Creek West

I headed out to photograph the sunrise and wildflowers
