This was removed as a souvenir  by a collector in 1971

This lamp is complete and both coloured lenses are present and undamaged

these plate were fitted when colour light signals were installed

The most famous one is LITTLE BYTHAM where on 3rd July 1938 Gresley streamlined pacific MALLARD achieved 126 mph on Stoke Bank between Little Bytham and Essendine setting the unbroken world speed record

The plate is in totally ex box condition and measures 47" X 6" The box was abolished along with the North box in 1971. The pictures clearly show the plate fitted to the box.
