Makenge Basket 05 Our collection of vintage NupeMakenge baskets are hand woven in Zambia from boiled roots of the Makenge bush and naturally coloured with plant dyes. Traditionally, these baskets are given as wedding presents to new brides, to use in outdoor kitchens.
