Georgian Garnet Half-Hoop Ring lost vintage soft patina over the pastRESERVED Charming Georgian half hoop ring set with burgundy flat cut garnets. Resting in cut down 'pie crust' mounts, the stones are set over foil giving them mysterious and brooding glow as the light reflects back out. Dating from the turn of the 19th century, the ring shows signs of its age: a glorious rosy gold patina, some surface wear to the stones, evidence of an old repair to the shoulders, and the head has taken on a slightly curved shape
