Embroiderd Turtle | XL Vintage Wood Striped Frame Embroidered_Nursery 5" dowel- 23" wide (atYears ago, I made some embroidered brooches in these beautiful wooden frames sourced from a couple who makes them by hand (!!!). Although I loved them, I hadn't made more after that first batch. Now I'm playing with some of their newer frames like this amazing turtle! I stitched the center in my favorite French Knots and used a, rare striped wood bowl (in the coolest long, skinny shape!) as the outer frame. This bowl was so fun to play with to paint
